Tim Gaines has lived in Madison County his entire life. His is a 1980 graduate of J.O. Johnson High School and worked for electrical contractors until he started his own company, Accurate Electrical Services. Tim and his wife Tammy have 2 grown children and 4 grandchildren.

Allen Munzy
Commercial Inspector
Allen Munzy is a lifelong Madison County resident. He graduated from Madison County High School and attended Drake State College. His career in Code Enforcement began in 1994 with Madison County, more recently he has been employed by the City of Huntsville. He has been working with Owens Cross Roads as Commercial Building Inspector since 2015. Allen and his wife Pamela have two grown children.

Commercial
Schedule of commercial building fees will be as follows:
Building permit for commercial buildings: ½ of 1% of the total cost of the project as estimated by the architect/engineer of the project.
Commercial inspection fees for building specific inspections are assessed at $300 per inspection and will be paid by the General Contractor; number of inspections to be determined by Town’s Commercial Inspector.
Commercial inspection fees for associated trades (plumbing, electrical, mechanical, gas lines, etc) will be assessed at $300 per inspection and will be paid by each specific trade sub-contractor; number of inspections to be determined by the Town’s Commercial Inspector.
Commercial plan review fee: $75 minimum.
FEE FOR SCHEDULING A MEETING WITH THE PLANNING/ZONING COMMITTEE(S):
$75 per meeting requested plus the cost of postage for certified letters to be mailed to the adjoining property owners surrounding the property being addressed in said meeting.
Residential
SCHEDULE OF RESIDENTIAL BUILDING FEES WILL BE AS FOLLOWS:
Residential building permits are assessed at $0.10 per square foot under beam plus a minimum of 3 inspections assessed at $75 each plus the $25 processing fee and certified postage.
