On February 27, 2024, the City Council honored Larry Furlough with a retirement reception to
thank him for his nearly 20 years of dedicated service. Mr. Furlough became a City Council
Member, Place 2, in October of 2004. He retired on January 31, 2024, after serving 19 years
and 3 months. Mr. Furlough served in the finance capacity for our City and helped make many
decisions to bring us to the financial security we see today. His presence will be greatly missed.
Thank you, Larry, for your many years of faithful service. We wish you well in all you do!
