Congratulations to Elizabeth Craig. She has been appointed by Governor Kay Ivey and the appointment office to fill the position of Council Member Place One, replacing retired Council Member Tim Wright.
Mrs. Craig previously served from 2008 – 2020 as a City Council Member. She is currently serving on the Planning Commission and the Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee. She has also served as a community leader in many areas, including, but not limited to, the planning and implementation of the Owens Cross Roads Christmas Parade and the City Hall Halloween Event. In the past, she has served on the Owens Cross Roads School PTO and was on the committee that assisted the school administration in achieving the Blue-Ribbon Award. She served on the Owens Cross Roads Recreation Board for seven years. Mrs. Craig is a valued member of our community and always willing to go above and beyond in service to others. We welcome her back to our City Council!
