This week during the city council meeting Mayor Tony Craig presented Christie Eason, City Clerk of Owens Cross Roads, the designation of Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC). This designation is awarded by the International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC), Inc.
IIMC grants the CMC designation only to municipal clerks who complete demanding education requirements; and have a record of significant contributions to their local government, community and state.
Christie is the only municipal clerk that has served Owens Cross Roads to earn this designation. Join us in congratulating her!
